Operating Instructions
Elevated Scaffold Instructions
1 The elevated scaffold consists of a platform
weldment, mid-rail chain, access ladder, and
related hardware.
2 Its purpose is to provide additional working
height to a single occupant. It’s maximum
capacity is 300 lbs./136 kg
Observe and Obey:
1 The elevated scaffold must be installed and
properly secured.
2 Only enter/exit the platform when it has been
fully assembled and secured to the platform
railing.
3 Lower the access ladder.
4 Using the provided steps and hand rails,
maintain a three-point contact at all times while
entering/exiting the platform.
5 Attach the platform entry chain before working
from the scaffold.
6 While the scaffold is occupied, there shall be no
movement of the machine.
Operation from Elevated Scaffold
1 Only use elevated scaffolds approved by Terex
Hydra Platforms.
2 Install the elevated scaffold according to the
installation instructions.
3 Always maintain communication with operators
that control the movements of the machine.
4 Never occupy an elevated scaffold while the
machine is moving.
Note: Only a single occupant is allowed in the
elevated scaffold at any given time and they must
wear PFPE.
