Fall Hazards
The guard rail system
provides fall protection. If
occupants of the platform
are required to wear
personal fall protection
equpiment (PFPE) due to
job site or employ rules,
PFPE and its use shall be
in accordance with the
PFPE manufacturer’s instructions and applicable
governmental requirements. Use approved lanyard
attachment point provided.
Always wear approved PFPE when occupying an
elevated scaffold.
Do not sit, stand or climb on the platform guard
rails. Maintain a firm footing on the platform floor at
all times.
Always use the cross-over platform to enter/exit the
main platform. Do not climb over the bridge deck
wall to access the main platform.
Keep the platform floor clear of debris.
Do not enter or exit the platform unless the platform
has been fully deployed and is stationary.
Always maintain a three-point contact at all times
while entering/exiting the platform or elevated
scaffold.
Do not drive the machine while personnel are
anywhere on the machine except the platform.
Collision Hazards
Be aware of limited sight distance and blind spots
when driving or operating.
When visibility is obstructed use the remote
pendant controls to improve visibility. Never
maneuver the machine if visibility is obstructed in
the path of travel.
Be aware of the platform position before rotating the
turntable.
Do not maneuver platform unless all occupants,
bystanders, other equipment or vehicles are clear
of any collision hazards and then only at their
request.
Do not drive, or otherwise maneuver platform, while
an elevated scaffold is occupied.
Do not unhook from tow vehicle unless the parking
brake is set.
Do not drive the machine unless all personnel are
located on the platform or the machine is fully
stowed.
Do not leave the machine attached to the tow
vehicle during deployment or operation.
