Inspect the Battery Watering
System (if equipped)
Battery specifi cations requires that this procedure
be performed every 250 hours or quarterly,
whichever comes fi rst.
Maintaining the battery watering system is
essential to good machine performance. Failure to
fi nd and replace faulty components could result in
damage to the batteries.
WARNING
Electrocution/burn hazard.
Contact with electrically charged
circuits could result in death or
serious injury. Remove all rings,
watches and other jewelry.
1 Inspect the line strainer of the pump assembly.
Clean or replace as necessary.
2 Inspect the tubing of the battery watering
system ensuring that all parts are in good
working condition and are secure, leak-free
and fully installed into each battery vent. The
coupler has an O-ring and dust cover properly
attached.

Torque the Wheel Lug Nuts
Terex specifi cations requires that this procedure be
performed every 250 hours or quarterly, whichever
comes fi rst.
Maintaining the wheel lug nuts at the proper torque
is essential to safe operation and good service life
of the tires, wheel and axle.
1 Check each lug nut for proper torque.
Specifi cation
Lug nut torque, dry 90 ft-lbs
122 Nm
Lug nut torque, lubricated 67.5 ft-lbs
91.5 Nm
