４．Preparation for operation
４.１ Checks prior to test operation
４.１.１ Electrical system checks
（1）Check that the wiring has been connected correctly．
（2）Check that terminal connections have been secured．
（3）Check that grounding has been carried out properly．
（4）Check that the setting of the overload protection device is the motor's rated
current．
４.１.２ Pump system checks
（1）Turn the shaft by hand，and check that it turns smoothly．
If it is not turned smoothly，it means there are rust or foreign object inside the pump,
etc.,so inspect the pump.
（2）Fully open a sluice valve on suction piping.
（3）Take out the priming plug，and supply priming water until the pump is full and
water floods out of it．
Turn the pump by hand to make sure that all the air has been expelled from inside
it．
ALWAYS turn off the main power supply before turning the pump by hand．
Do not run the pump without supplying prime water.
It may cause of damages the parts of the pump.
