２．Structure and overview of the pump
２.１ Names of parts
① Casing
The piping is connected to the casing．
The impeller，which giving pressure to the pumped water by its rotation，is housed
inside the casing．
② Motor
③ Common bed
④ Bearing case
The sealed ball bearing is housed in it．
⑤ Shaft coupling
This coupling connects the pump and motor shafts，transmitting the power．
It absorbs offset between the centers of the two shafts．
⑥ Shaft coupling protective cover
⑦ Shaft seal parts (Mechanical Seal)
This prevents leakage from the clearance through which the shaft penetrates．
There are Special specifications about Gland Packing and double Mechanical Seal.
