MAIN BRUSH BELTS

Check the main brush belts for wear after every

100 hours of operation. The idler keeps tension on

the belt. The tension is set manually.

WARNING: Moving belt and fan. Keep

away.

TO REPLACE MAIN BRUSH DRIVE BELT

FOR SAFETY: Before Leaving Or

Servicing Machine; Stop On Level

Surface, Set Parking Brake.

1. Remove the four screws holding the right

hand brush door to the machine frame.

Remove the right hand side brush door.

2. Remove the vacuum fan drive belt from the

lower sheave. See TO REPLACE VACUUM

FAN DRIVE BELT instructions in this

section.

3. Locate the main brush drive belt idler pulley

between the small drive pulley and the larger

brush pulley.

4. Loosen the hex nut in the center of the idler

pulley.

5. Push the idler pulley back in the slot.
