16. Position the V--belt over the jack shaft

sheave.

17. Pull the tension idler pulley mount plate and

reconnect the tension spring. Tighten the

jam nuts on the threaded rod until the

tension spring is 4.5 in. long.

18. Reinstall the main brush.

19. Start the machine and operate the main

brush. Check for proper operation.
