C. ARM LOCK BRACKET

1. The arm lock bracket locks the upper lift

arm in the fully extended position when the

hopper is in the raised position. This

prevents the hopper from rolling back in

the event the operator tries to lower the

hopper and it becomes jammed or hung

up. The arm lock bracket must be

adjusted so it drops and latches when the

hopper is raised and unlatches when the

hopper is lowered. Adjust the locking strip

so the spring lifts the bracket as it comes

in contact with the locking strip, and

lowers the bracket as it looses contact with

the locking strip.
