PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

AFTER UNCRATING AND BEFORE
OPERATING MACHINE:

1. Check the machine for shipping damage.

2. Read this manual carefully before operating

or servicing the machine.

FOR SAFETY: Do Not Operate Machine,
Unless Operation Manual Is Read And
Understood.

3. Check the batteries. If they are of the

wet-type, check the electrolyte level. If they
are of the dry-type, activate them as
described in ACTIVATING DRY-TYPE
BATTERIES in the MAINTENANCE section.

4. Check the battery specific gravity to

determine the state of charge as described

section. Charge the batteries if necessary.
