4.3 Appendix 3: Solutions to login failure
When coming across switch login failure, first make sure whether you can access the
switch through “ping” command or not.
If switch’ IP is accessible through “ping command” then problem might be with your
browser. We recommend you to change for another PC.
And if it is not, please follow the steps below:
1) Check whether the IP addresses of the management PC and switch are within the
same net segment.
2) Check whether there are problems with the cable connecting PC and switch or
whether the cable is too long.
3) Check whether switch’s corresponding SYS LED is “Always ON”.
4) Try to connect switch to PC through another port.
5) Check whether the switch’s management VLAN has been changed.
6) Check whether the port connecting PC is set to a different PVID with that of the
