3.7.2 RSTP Port

This page allows you to view and modify RSTP port settings.
Fields on the above page are described as below:
Field Description
Port
Switch’s Port ID/number
Protocol Enabled
Enable or disable RSTP/STP on a corresponding port; by
default, it is disabled on all ports
Edge
The port that connects a terminal is usually set to an edge port
which has a fast state shift. There is no need for an edge port
to take 2 times of forwarding delay time to shift from blocking
state to forwarding state
Path Cost
The path cost value is in the range of 0~200000000 and is
“Auto” by default; when set to 0, it means the port path cost is
automatically determined according to the port rate
