Internet Phone User Manual

USE G/K

This menu is to select whether user will use Gatekeeper or not. If the user select

Gatekeeper mode, the call will be routed through Gatekeeper deployed by ITSP or

the internally installed to the destination. If the user select Gatekeeper disable, the

internet phone will be changed to the direct mode, which means that the call will be

connected between two Internet phones only. In direct mode, user can make a call by

dialing the IP address of the destination device directly on key pad instead of the

destination phone number. When you dial the IP address of the destination device,

please use ‘*” for ‘.’, for example, you can dial ‘XXX*XXX*XXX*XXX’ for

‘XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX’.

STEP 1

Select ‘1: Use GK’ button.

Press ‘OK’ button or press the menu

number to select the menu

Press ‘Cancel’ key to move to the

upper menu.

STEP 2

Select whether you will use GK or not.

Press ‘OK’ button or press the menu

number to select the menu

Press ‘Cancel’ key to move to the

upper menu.
