Internet Phone User Manual

Problem: The phone does not disconnect up after I hang up my call.

A. Check if your receiver is properly rested on the cradle.

Problem: I accidentally disconnect my power in the middle of my phone call and

now I cannot make calls.

A. Your call might still be connected. Please call your ITSP to disconnect the call.

Problem: The modem does not disconnect after I hang up my call.

A. You will have to press the forward button again to disconnect the call. If

you have a habit of forgetting to do this and you are not on unlimited access,

you may wish to change the timeout in the menu setup for the modem and

reduce the time-out.

However, if the modem still does not disconnect even after pressing the

forward button, please report the problem to your ITSP or phone distributor.

Problem: When I am trying to input characters, the cursor does not advance

to the next character.

A: The cursor will follow the last character entered. If you key in the next

character, the phone will automatically insert the new character in the next

space. If you need to use the same key to enter different character, use the

arrow to advance to the next space.

If none of the above describes your problem, please contact your ITSP or

phone distributor.
