The
CMSN
parameter has the same controller number as the
NT port it is used for. The default number is used if no calling
party number or a number outside the allowed range was re-
ceived. The list of numbers in the square brackets contains all
allowed numbers. The Wildcards * and ? can be used, where-
by * matches one or more digits and ? matches exactly one
digit.
The
CMSN
parameter is port specific, each ISDN NT port can
have its own
CMSN
parameter configured.
Screening in connection with SIP trunking
If the calls received from ISDN are forwarded to SIP, the pa-
rameter
VoipP-Preferred-Identity
needs to be configured in
the used VoIP profile in
route.cfg
:
If the calling party number received from the PBX matches the
range configured with the
CMSN
parameter, both, P-Pre-
ferred-Identity and From field contain the same calling party
number. If the number received from the PBX doesn’t match
the configured range, the From field contains the calling party
number received from the PBX while P-Preferred-Identity
contains the default number configured with the
CMSN
pa-
rameter.
The example below assumes that the PBX connected to ISDN
Controller 01 has the base number 03039928 with extentions
from -000 to -299. Furthermore it is assumed that for out-
bound calls the PBX sends only the extension number as call-
ing party number.
The
CMSN
parameter screens the calling party number re-
ceived on Controller 01 from the PBX. If the received number
is between 000 and 299, the SIP header’s P-Preferred-Identi-
ty and
From
field both contain the number 03039928200. If
VoipP-Preferred-Identity=<sip:*@c5.teles.de>
