SET UP
Ground and calibration output terminals are used to compensate passive
probes.
BNC connectors are signal inputs for CH1-CH4. EXT can be used to input
an external trigger.
The
tilting feet enable the oscilloscope to be angled for easier bench top
viewing.
The touch screen display is the principal viewing center of the
oscilloscope. See “Touch Screen Display” for an overview of its
components.
The
front panel houses buttons and knobs that control different
oscilloscope settings. Operate the instrument using front panel
controls, touch screen controls, or a mix of both that is convenient.
Many front panel knobs have multiple modes of
operation: pressing them invokes one action and
turning them another. The bottom label tells you what
happens when you “push” instead of turn.
The Power button turns on/off the oscilloscope. See
“Powering On/Off” on page 9 for more information.
Front mounted host USB ports can be used for
transferring data.
