6.5. Using the app
The app is divided into two parts: Live Video
and History. As a user, you may access the live
video feed from your video door station at any
time.
Answering a call
The lower list provides an overview on all the
door intercom devices set-up on this smart-
phone. The dot in front of a door intercom name
indicates the availability status of a video door
intercom. Video door intercoms with a red dot
are offline, those with a green dot are online.
Pressing the respective row in the list will
deliver the video feed from the corresponding
video door intercom device. Tap the “Open
Door “ key to trigger the open door function;
use the “Lights On “ key to turn on the LED
illumination. Use the key to activate the
additional relay. This additional relay is only
available on myintercom Plus door intercom
stations. By pressing “Answer “, you activate
the speaker on your video door intercom. Then,
you can address the visitor(s) outside your front
door.
On this screen you will see the video feed from
the door camera. The bar at the top of the
screen indicates video reception either via
local or mobile data connection. The bar colour
indicates the transmission quality (red: poor,
green: good).
