Gateway Diagnostics

After completing installation, verify proper operation of the unit by checking the status LEDs
(

Power, Ready, Voice, Mngt

), as shown in figure below. The relative position of each LED is

indicated on the EdgeGate cover. The indications of the status LEDs are described in Table 5-1.

The SFP Line Activity LED is located on top of the SFP cage. See picture below:

the LED indicates the link status of port 9, Giga FO.

•

For

GW-482S-x-F

the LED indicates the link status of port 8 (100BaseFX or

10/100BaseT /TX, whichever is selected).
