Performance Verification

P6209 4 GHz Probe Instruction Manual

Output Zero

Use this procedure to verify the probe output zero.

Connect the test equipment as shown in Figure 12.

Ground the probe tip by connecting the two KlipChips together.

Set the oscilloscope trigger source to internal clock.

Set the oscilloscope channel vertical offset to 0.00 V.

Set the multimeter to read DC volts.

Record the multimeter reading on the test record.

The measured DC level should be 0.00 V

10 mV for

the CSA/TDS8000.
