Communications Setup 

DGPS Type

The DGPS Type defines the type and accuracy of the DGPS source used with your GPS Receiver. This setting defines 
which set of vehicle dynamic parameters should be used in guidance and point navigation.

To change the Display Backlight setting; highlight the Backlight menu item and press 

. The Display Backlight 

dialog box will appear. Select the desired setting using the arrow keys 

, once the desired setting is selected, 

press 

 to return back to the GPS Receiver setup menu, see

Figure 2-23: Setting the DGPS Type Parameter

Setting

Description

Standard

Sets vehicle dynamics for Standard DGPS sub-meter accuracy. DGPS sources such as 
WAAS, Beacon and Satellite should use the Standard setting.

RTK

Sets vehicle dynamics for Real Time Kinematics (RTK) decimeter to centimeter accu-
racy.
