Communications Setup

Port Data Bits

The Data Bits menu item sets the GPS port Data Bits on the SmartPad II, see Table 2-3.

To change the Data Bits setting; highlight the Data Bits menu item and press

appear. Select the desired setting using the arrow keys

back to the Communications setup menu, see Figure 2-13.

Description

Sets the GPS serial port data bit value to 7.
