7 ALARMS
7.1 WARNINGS
An alarm in the system is a recall caused by system problems that are sent to medical personnel by
means of a VISUAL AND AUDIO MESSAGE, when the delivery pressure in the equipment is insufficient
or a device failure occurs that may compromise the safety of the device.
THE DEVICE DOES NOT MONITOR THE PATIENT'S PHYSIOLOGICAL PARAMETERS.
DURING SEDATION MONITOR THE PATIENT USING A PULSE OXIMETER WITH
CUSTOMISED ALARM THRESHOLDS.
AT START-UP, TO CHECK THE OPERATION OF THE ACOUSTIC SIGNAL, THE DEVICE
EMITS 3 BEEPS, IN CASE OF ANOMALY DO NOT USE THE DEVICE AND CONTACT
THE TECHNICAL SUPPORT.
The device warns the operator by means of WARNINGS if there are any anomalies, THESE
ANOMALIES DO NOT AFFECT THE SAFETY OF THE DEVICE.
The WARNING indication appears on the screen, accompanied by an acoustic alarm that repeats with 3
beeps and a pause.
If the device is connected to the mains, the BARLED (see par 5.2) changes to Yellow.
To continue using the device it is necessary to press "Reset", the WARNING screen and the BUZZER
SIGNAL are removed, a BLINKING ICON remains on the DISPLAY and the BARLED is yellow.
If the cause of the fault is removed, the icon on the display disappears.
