Connection to a surgical aspirator

Art. 1500/AS and 1501/AS

Connect the mask circuit gas exhaust tube
to the supplied fitting

(29 - figure A4)

Connect the fitting to the surgical aspirator
tube (Ø11 mm).

Valve adjustment (31 - figure A4)

Turn the perforated ring nut on the valve

(31 – figure A4)

until the holes close.

Start gas delivery by setting ~10 l/min

Start the surgical aspirator by setting the
minimum aspiration value.

Observe the bar

Turn the perforated ring nut on the valve

Connect the mask circuit gas exhaust tube
to the supplied valve

Connect the valve to the surgical aspirator
tube (Ø11)

Valve adjustment (31M)

Open the valve completely (lever parallel to
the valve).

Start gas delivery by setting ~10 l/min

Start the surgical aspirator by setting the
minimum aspiration value.

Observe the bar

Turn the valve lever gradually closing it until
you obtain the ideal bag condition of

“HALF

FULL HALF EMPTY”

ATTENTION

By changing the flow delivery it may be necessary to adjust the correct aspiration
flows of the exhaled gases.
