key to add a channel to the Electronic Programme Guide (cross
appears in display) or to delete a channel from the guide (cross disappears from dis-

When you have completed programming the EPG in this manner, press the

Once you have customized the Electronic Programme Guide to your personal preferences,
the process of data acquisition by the EPG can be started manually as follows
>
Use the
On/Standby
key to switch the receiver off (standby).
>
Press the key
EPG
within 5 seconds.
The receiver will now carry out the data acquisition procedure. This is shown in the
display by the letters
EPLd
.
>
The data acquisition process can be interrupted by switching on (
On/Standby
key)
the receiver.
7.6 Unblocking the parental lock for individual channels
Enter your PIN in order to get to the appropriate menu, then proceed as described in Point
7.3, removing individual red crosses by pressing the
OK
key. In this manner, individual chan-
nels can again be excluded from the parental lock control.
7.7 Programme Search
As mentioned previously, your receiver has been pre-programmed to receive signals from
the ASTRA and EUTELSAT satellites. In order to add new channels, or those received from
other satellites, there are four possibilities of carrying out a programme/channel search.
Please note that your Basic Settings (5.2 - search mode) will determine whether only free-to-
air or all (free-to-air and scrambled) channels will be searched.
1. All:
All satellites and transponders selected will be searched.
2. Satellite:
Choose this option to find specific channels or bouquets.
