2. General Description

2.1 Instrument

The Tecan

infinite

200

is a multifunctional microplate reader with injector option.

The

infinite

200

provides high performance for the vast majority of today’s

microplate applications and research and is robotic compatible.

2.1.1

Intended Use

The

infinite

200

has been designed as a general purpose laboratory instrument

for professional use, supporting common 6 to 384-well microplates conforming to
the ANSI/SBS standards (see 2.1.2 Multifunctionality for further details).

Note

System Validation by Operating Authority is Required

The

infinite

200

has been validated on a selected set of assays only.

It is the responsibility of any operating authority to ensure that the

infinite

200

has been validated for every specific assay used on the

instrument.
