9. Operation

9.3 Suspend/Resume

T

This drive conforms to the OS-based suspend/resume, however,
it may not operate properly depending on your PC environment. In
such a case, do not use the suspend function with the drive con-
nected to your computer.

T

Avoid using the suspend function while the drive is in operation.

T

Do not connect or disconnect the drive while the computer is in
the suspend mode.

Suspend: This may be called standby, sleep mode or hibernation
depending on computers and operating systems.

9.4 Using USB 2.0

T

An operating system and a personal computer that conforms to
the USB 2.0 or a USB 2.0 interface card and a driver are required
for the operation using the USB 2.0.

T

When using the USB 2.0, a problem in usage may be caused de-
pending on the host card, driver, etc. being used. Use it within the
limitation of a connected host card.

T

Use the appropriate USB 2.0 host card driver after obtaining infor-
mation from the manufacturer/vendor.
