7. You can make sure that the drive has been recognized after con-

nection by using Device Manager (Control Panel, System).

“TEAC CD-W224EA” resp. "TEAC DW-224E" at “CDROM”
“TEAC USB 2.0 CD-R/RW Unit” resp.
“TEAC USB 2.0 CD-RW/DVD Unit” at “Universal Serial Bus
controllers”

If you cannot find the TEAC entry under "Universal Se-
rial Bus controllers" and the entry "USB Mass Storage
Device" can be found you have to carry out the steps
described in section 6.5 to install the TEAC device driver.
