Failure on all comm modes
The terminal is unable to connect
to the host.
Check the Bluetooth base, router
cables, and check communication
settings.
Verify that your terminal has a
connection to the 4G network.
Verify that your router has a
connection to the Internet.
Feature disabled
The user attempted to select a
feature that is disabled on the
terminal.
Enable the feature in question.
Use a different feature.
“I” Error codes

Action required
Incorrect PIN
The customer entered an incorrect PIN. The customer must enter the
correct PIN.
If the PIN has been entered incorrectly
multiple times, have the customer
select a new payment method.
Insert card in chip reader
An EMV card has been swiped first
when a chip is available on the card.
Insert the card chip into the
terminal.
Invalid card

The last four digits of the card
number entered do not match the
card being used.
Re-enter the last four digits of the
card number.
Invalid clerk ID
The clerk ID entered has not been
set up on the terminal as of yet and
Auto Add Clerk
is disabled.
Enter an existing clerk ID.
Add the clerk ID through the
Clerk
Menu
.
Invalid date
The date entered was an invalid
format.
Re-enter the date as DDMMYY.
Invalid password
The password entered does not
match the password of the ID
selected.
Re-enter the correct password.
Invalid password
Press enter
The password entered does not
meet the requirements.
Re-enter the password and ensure
that all the format requirements
are met such as alpha-numeric
and special characters.
Invalid time
The entered time is invalid.
Re-enter the time as HHMM.
Invalid user
The incorrect administrator ID was
entered. This is a case sensitive ID.
Enter the correct administrator ID.
Invalid value
An incorrect parameter value was
entered.
Enter a value within the permitted
parameter range.
