and allows the customer to enter
the passcode and re-tap the
mobile device.

The terminal tried to close the
batch but was unsuccessful.
Review any errors on the terminal
and receipt.

An EMV contactless card has been
tapped and that it must be inserted
or swiped, or another payment
method must be selected.
Insert or swipe the card or receive
a new form of payment.

A contactless card was tapped too
quickly for the terminal to register it.
The customer re-taps the card.

A card was tapped in error.
The customer re-taps a different card.

terminal and add a new one.
