6 DISPOSAL
At the end of its operational life, this equipment cannot be disposed of in normal
household waste. Instead, it must be disposed of via an electricals recycling centre.
Further information can be obtained from your local authority‘s recycling service.
The materials can be recycled as per their symbols. Through the reuse, recycling
of materials or other forms of recovery of old equipment, you make an important
contribution to the protection of the environment.
Note for battery disposal
Do not dispose of used batteries in the household waste. Being the end-user, you are obliged to
dispose of used batteries at a commercial or municipal collection point.
You can also give the batteries, which you received from us, to one of our stores or send these to our
warehouse postage free (see contact details at the end of these instructions).
Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004 percent by weight of lead.
Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 percent by weight of cadmium.
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent by weight of mercury
