NOTE
Check the fuel level when the ve-
hicle is on plain surface.
On inclines, curves, during brak-
ing and sudden acceleration due
to the movement of fuel in the
tank, the fuel level display may
fluctuate or the low fuel warning
lamp may turns ON/OFF earlier
or delayed than usual.
WARNING
If there is any fault in the system,
Low fuel warning symbol will start
blinking. Take your vehicle to the
nearest TATA MOTORS Authorised
service station.
NOTE
At every ignition ON Fuel gauge
will be displayed in place of “I
n-
stantaneous Fuel consumption”
bar graph irrespective of user se-
lection screen.
User can t
oggle between “Fuel
Gauge” and “Instantaneous Fuel
consumption
” bar graph using
SET and MODE button.
User selection to IFE screen will
NOT be allowed if fuel is below
¼
tank level.
During vehicle running if LCD
screen is
in “Instantaneous Fuel
consumption”
bar graph mode &
if fuel gauge reduces to
¼
the
tank level then LCD screen will
automatically goes to Fuel Mode.
Temperature Gauge
When the ignition switch is in the “ON”
position, this gauge indicates the engine
coolant temperature.
The indicator should stay within the nor-
mal, acceptable temperature range be-
tween “H” and “C”. If the indicator ap-
proaches “H”, ove
rheating is indicated
by red bar.
If the coolant temperature reading is
very high, the engine coolant tempera-
ture tell-tale flashes with an audible
buzzer. In this case, stop the vehicle,
switch ‘OFF’ the engine and cool it down
for some time. Contact the nearest TATA
MOTORS Authorised Service Centre im-
mediately for rectification.
WARNING
The Red bar on high coolant tem-
perature warning indicates over-
heating that may damage the en-
gine. Continuing to drive the vehi-
cle when engine overheating is in-
dicated can result in severe engine
damage or fire.
