Conventions used in this manual
The following conventions are used in this manual.
• When we refer to a button or connector or control on the
DR-40, the typeface looks like this: MENU.
• When we show messages, for example, that appears on the
unit’s display, the typeface looks like this:

• When we show messages, for example, that appear on the
computer’s screen, we show them like this:

• SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards are called “SD cards”.
• Additional information is introduced in the styles below
when needed:
