TARGET ECO I FEEDING

5.4.2

Relay Assignment for the
Actuator

If the drops are controlled by an actuator,

you must assign an actuator position to each

ration. The following procedure show how

to make this assignment and how to assign

the actuator’s open and close relays.

Select:

11. Installation *

2. Relay Assignment
6. Actuator **

*

Accessible from the installer mode (s. 5.2).

*

Accessible if the actuator is enabled (s. 5.3).

Ration #X Actuator Position:

Specify the actuator position that is asso-

ciated with the delivery of each type of

ration as follows:

1. Open the actuator to a position that is

used for the distribution of a ration (use

the bypass switches of your relay panel to

open the actuator).

2. Once the actuator is correctly posi-

tioned, assign its position to the proper

ration. The current actuator position is dis-

played below.

3. Repeat for each ration in use.

Hysteresis:                  3 %

Current actuator position:

This is the current position of the actuator’s

potentiometer. Use it as a reference to

assign an actuator position to each ration.

Open / Close actuator
Module ID:

Select on which relay panel the actuator’s

opening and closing relays are located. The

relay panel is identified by its ID number

(ID #2 to ID #19).  Tables are also avail-

able at the end of this manual to write down

the identification number of each panel.

Open / Close Actuator
Output #:

Select which relays of the relay panel are

used to open and to close the actuator (out-

puts 1-16). If a device is connected to re-

lays 17-32 of a 32-output relay panel, se-

lect to which relay of the second 16-relay

strip this corresponds (i.e., relay 17=1,

relay 18=2... relay 32=16. Refer to sec-

tion 5.4 for further information).

Hysteresis:

The hysteresis is the acceptable offset in

the actuator’s position. It can be adjusted

from 0 to 4%.
