Printing on Both Sides
If you have installed an optional duplex unit and have enabled it (see
“Enabling the Duplex Unit” on page 73), you can print on both sides of
the paper. When configuring the Duplex Unit, you can select Simplex ,
Flip on long edge, or Flip on short edge .
Customizing Graphical Output
Selecting High Resolution
For high-quality printing, you can change the resolution of the printed
images from 600 dpi to 1200 dpi.
1. From the Document Defaults
window in Windows NT or the
Printer Properties window in
Windows 2000, click the
Device Settings tab.
2. Under Paper/Output , click
Print on Both Sides (Duplex
Printing) .
3. In the Change ‘ Print on Both
Sides (Duplex Printing) ’ Set-
ting list, select the desired
printing method.
4. Click OK .
