Configuring a PC for LPD Printing

The included LPR utility is installed on your PC when you install the print

drivers using the Tally CD-ROM.

Configuring the Printer for FTP Printing

To configure the FTPD, specify an IP address of the printer, and then

select

FTPD Settings

To print using FTP, transfer your PostScript image as you would to a

standard FTP server..

Parameter

Description

FTPD

Enables or disables the FTP daemon.

Printer Name

Sets the printer name that FTP uses.

Max Connec-

tions

Sets the maximum number of simultaneous connec-

tions allowed.

Timeout

Sets a timeout period after which inactive sessions

will be terminated.
