eliminate this kind of problems the
DREAM 2
offers the option of gradual
opening/closing of valves. When this option is selected, then instead of closing
simultaneously all the valves of the terminating shift and opening simultaneously all
the valves of the starting shift, the opening/closing will be executed in a gradual
mode: one valve will get closed and one valve will get opened and after a specified
delay another pair of valves will follow. The delay is specified in seconds.
◇
29
Flows-witch delay
– In order to being able to detect valves that failed to open
or failed to close after being commanded to do so, there can be flow switches
installed next to each valve, then whenever a command was issued to open/close a
valve, its associated flow switch will be checked with a certain delay to see whether
the command was really executed.

DP act. during fill. delay
– this parameter defines whether during filling delay
the DP contact will be referred to or ignored.
◇
32
Same valves in seq.
– when this parameter is set to
“Y”
, it will be permitted
to include the same valve, several times in the same sequence.
◇
33
Repeated flow problem halt
– when this parameter is set to
“Y”
and the
system detects high flow or low flow problems three times consecutively on the
same line, it will react by freezing the line and unless released manually, the line will
remain frozen.
◇
34
Stop time as max. duration
– when this parameter is set to
“Y”
then the
“stop time” parameter within each irrigation program defines the maximal duration of
the program rather than the time at which the program must stop.
◇
35
Parallel programs in line
– when this parameter is set to
“Y”
it is permitted
for several programs defined on valves of the same irrigation line to run at the same
time, provided that there are no conflicts between the programs. In case of conflict,
the program with the lower priority or the one that is just about to start, will wait.
◇
36
Rain/Frost detection
– when this parameter is set to
“Y”
the “Rain Shut
down” and “Frost protection” options are enabled.
◇
37
ET rain deduction
– Dealing with irrigation by Evaporation, when this
parameter is set to
“Y”
the daily rain is deducted from the daily ET while calculating
the amount to be irrigated.
◇
38
Accumulated radiation
– When set, the system will enable triggering of
irrigation cycles based on accumulated light.
