Allow the customer to lie down
Lower the backrest of the chair while supporting
the head of the customer, then lower the custom-
er’s head gently onto the neck cushion.
Unlock chair rotation as necessary and make fine adjustments so that the chair and the basin are in
a straight line.

The space between the backrest of the chair and the basin should be about 15 mm.

Wash the Hair
CAUTION
• When lowering the backrest of the chair, be sure to support the head of the
customer with your hand. Failing to do so may result in injury from accidental
contact of the basin with the head.
• Utmost care must be taken when operating chairs with auto-setting functions to
avoid the body and other objects from becoming caught between the chair and
basin when lowering the backrest of the chair.
WARNING
• If the chair rotation is unlocked for fine adjustments with the customer lying
down, make sure that the head of the customer is supported with a hand. Unlock-
ing chair rotation without supporting the customer’s head may lead to injury in
the customer.
• After fine adjustments of the chair, the chair must be locked before washing the
hair. Failure to lock the chair may result in movement of the chair and lead to
injury in the customer.
