Link Settings
Set the links on the system interface board as shown in the following table.
The factory default positions are shown in
bold
text. Refer to
“Setting the
Links on the System Interface Board” on page 50
for a full description of
the links and their locations.
Programming
Program the Satsync 7 module(s) as required for:
■
output frequencies
■
output levels
■
fault output delay.
Note
If two Satsync 7 modules are fitted, set the same fault output delay
for each module.
Change the timing source to
PPS Only
by selecting the check box.
With the timing source set as PPS Only, the Satsync 7 module(s) do not
check for NMEA data. They assume that the 1PPS signal is always valid
(although it must be present). This is required in this configuration because
no NMEA data is provided from the RSU GPS receivers. Instead the RSUs
provide VALID signals, and these are used by the T801-4 system interface
board to initiate a changeover and/or control the 1PPS outputs (as
required). The VALID signals from the RSU are not available to the
Satsync 7 modules.
