T801-4 with External GPS Receiver
This configuration uses a standard product with no internal GPS receiver,
the T801-4x-8000. The external Dalman 40742 GPS antenna/receiver is
available separately as Tait part number T801-40-0000, and comes complete
with a 30m connection cable.
Connection
Connect the external GPS receiver to
PORT A
on the rear panel using the
supplied 30m cable. Refer to
“Cabling” on page 79
for more information
on connectors and appropriate types and lengths of cables.
Link Settings
There are no changes to the factory default settings.
Programming
Program the Satsync 7 module(s) as required for:
■
output frequencies
■
output levels
■
fault output delay.
Note
Do not change the timing source options for this configuration.
Leave both check boxes clear. If two Satsync 7 modules are fitted,
set the same fault output delay for each module.
