Connections and Controls

1.3.1

Front Panel

There are two front panels available, depending on whether one or two
Satsync 7 modules are fitted.

Figure 1.3

identifies the controls and

connections on a T801-4 fitted with two Satsync 7 modules.

PROGRAMMING
PORT

This is a 9-way female D-range connector which is used to connect each
Satsync 7 module to a PC running the ET software (refer to

“Programming” on page 35

). It is a standard RS-232 interface (DCE). Use

the supplied TBA0P10

cable or a standard straight through cable to connect

the T801-4 to the PC. The pin allocations are given in the following table.
