Preface

Scope of Manual

Welcome to the T801-4 GPS frequency reference Installation and
Operation Manual. This manual provides information on programming,
installing and operating the T801-4. Also included in this manual are a
functional description and specifications.

Document Conventions

“Options > Connect” means “click Options on the menu bar, then click
Connect on the list of commands that pops up”.

Small capitals are used when quoting text which is printed on the front or
rear panels, e.g.

.

Within this manual, four types of alerts are given to the reader: Warning,
Caution, Important and Note. The following paragraphs illustrate each type
of alert and its associated symbol.

Warning!!

This alert is used when there is a potential risk
of death or serious injury.

Caution

This alert is used when there is a risk of minor or
moderate injury to people.

Important

This alert is used to warn about the risk of equipment dam-
age or malfunction.

Note

This alert is used to highlight information that is required to
ensure procedures are performed correctly.
