10.1 Problems Starting Up the WANpro

None of the LEDs and LCD are on when you
power on the WANpro
Check the connection between the AC adapter
and the WANpro.
If the error persists, you may have a hardware
problem. In this case You should contact
technical support.
1. Check to see if the WANpro is connected to
your computer serial port.

Cannot access the WANpro via the console port.
2. Check to see if the
communication
program is configured
correctly. The
communications
software should be
configured as follows:
No parity, 8 Data bits, 1
Stop bit, Flow Control
set to None.
10.2 Problem with the IDSL Interface

Action
Initialization of the lease line (PVC) connection
failed.
Ensure that the cable is conneted properly from
the IDSL port to the wall jack. The IDSL Link
LED on the front panel of the WANpro should
be on. If not, check
Menu 5.2
to verify that the
NTU mode of both side should not be the same,
and Data Rate should be the same as the peer,
Test Loop needs to be disable. If you still have
problems, you mayneed to verify these
variables with the telephone company and/or
ISP or the peer IDSL device or router (in a
LAN-to-LAN application).
10.3 Problems with the LAN Interface

Action
Check the LAN LINK LEDs on the front panel.
The LED should be on for a port that has a
station connected. If it is off, check the cables
between your WANpro and the station.
Can't ping any station on the LAN
Verify that the IP address and the subnet mask
are consistent between the WANpro and
workstations.
