Operating the PDP 3000 HV sources in detail
Using the F3001 The PDP 3000 HV is fitted with several integral sources: CD/SACD player, S/P-
DIF DA converter and USB D/A converter. The following sections primarily
describe the method of operating the individual sources using the
F3001 , since
it is only possible to control all the functions - e.g. fast forward / rewind - using
the remote control handset.
Using the device itself
The basic functions can be controlled directly on the device itself.
In this case the select knob replaces the cursor buttons and OK button on the
F3001 . This is the basic procedure:
In lists

Use the select knob to select a point in the list.

Press the select knob wheel to open a sub-menu.
Controlling the disc mechanism

Individual tracks can be selected for playback by rotating the select knob .

As soon as the desired track number lights up, that track can be started by
pressing the
select knob.

During playback it is possible to toggle between “Pause” and “Play” by
pressing the
select knob repeatedly.

A long press on the select knob halts playback.
