Benefits of a managed solution
Norton AntiVirus network-level virus protection adds an additional layer of
security for computers attached to a Norton AntiVirus server. These
computers, running in connected mode, join a group of managed
computers monitored by a network administrator. Managed computers can
be more closely monitored, and virus intrusion points can be detected and
then better protected against future attacks. Some of the specific benefits of
network protection include:

Added protection at the server level: Norton AntiVirus scans the
network servers containing the essential data and program resources
that keep your network running efficiently.

Centralized virus scanning of networked computers: Managed
computers can be scanned from a Symantec System Center console at
scheduled times of the day. They can also be scanned when a virus
