To act on an infected file

Right-click a file to display the actions pop-up menu.

Select one of the following actions:

Undo Action Taken: If possible, reverses the preset action response.
■
Clean: Removes the virus from the file.
■
Delete Permanently: Deletes the infected file.
■
Move To Quarantine: Places the infected file in the Quarantine.
■
Properties: Displays information about the virus.
Depending on the preset action for a virus detection, your selection
may not be able to be performed.
Note:
In a managed network, the scan dialog box may not appear for an
administrator-scheduled scan. Similarly, your administrator may choose not
to display alerts when a virus is detected.
