AIR FILTER CHECK, CLEANING AND/OR
REPLACEMENT
To gain access to the air filter, proceed as follows:
-
Remove the seat and the right side panel as described
in the relevant paragraphs;
- unscrew the screw (1) positioned under the rear
mudguard;
-
unscrew the two screws (2) and remove the
protection (3);
-
unscrew the two screws (4) and remove the plate (5);
-
unscrew the two screws (6);
- remove the suction sleeve (7);
-
slide the filter (8) out of the filter box;
-
check that it is not clogged and, if necessary, clean
it by blowing compressed air from the inside to the
outside;
-
if too dirty, replace it.
Note
Refit all components following the disassembly
procedure in reverse order and paying attention
to the condition of the gasket (9), to be replaced if
worn, and that it is properly positioned in its seat.
