Operating with other devices
On your base station, you can register up to six cordless devices (including the
Gigaset Repeater V2 (page 120)).
You must initiate registration of a cordless device on the base station and on the
cordless device itself. The internal numbers 11 to 16 are reserved for the cordless
devices. If these internal numbers have already been assigned on your telephone, de-
register a handset you no longer require before registering a new one (page 120).
Registering handsets
When you have prepared the base station for registration, it remains so for approx.
30 seconds. Therefore you should prepare the handset for registration before starting
preparation of the base station.
1. On the base station
The base station is only ready for registration for as long as

is shown in the display (approx. 30 seconds).
2. On the handset (within 30 sec.)
Register the handset as described in the relevant operating instructions.
After registration the handset reverts to idle status. The handset's internal number is
shown in the display.
The next unassigned internal number between
Int.11
and
Int.16
is automatically
assigned to the handset as it is registered.
