6.
Drill four M8 screw holes (based on using the supplied wall anchor bolts) on the wall according
to the screw holes of the wall mount. If you are not using the supplied bolts, drill holes
appropriate to the mounting hardware you are using.
Notes:
For concrete wall mounting, you will need to use the included expansion bolts to fix the mount.
The mounting hole of the expansion bolts on the wall should align with the mounting holes on
the mount. To create a template, place the wall mount on a piece of paper and mark the holes
with a permanent marker or pen, then you can use this paper to mark the wall or mounting
surface so you can easily drill the required holes. If the supplied mounting bolts don’t suit your
installation location, consult with your local hardware specialist on the best mounting hardware
for your particular application and location.
For a timber wall mounting, you can use suitable self-tapping screws to fix the bracket but again
ensure they are strong enough and have enough “grip” to hold a number of times the weight of
the camera.
7.
Wrap the thread part with the thread tape and rotate the pendant adapter to the wall mount.
8.
Secure the pendant adapter to the wall mount with a set screw (supplied) as shown in Figure
1-5.
