Next, the steps to monitor every parameter in the previous table are
described in detail.
4.1
Frecuencia de transmisión
To observe the transmission frequency:
1.
The parameter is monitored in the main screen
2.
To see it using “Monitor” menu, using Up and Down arrows go to line
no.1 of the Monitor menu.
4.2
Transmisson power
To check the transmission power of the equipment
1.
The parameter is monitored in the main screen
2.
To see it using “Monitor” menu, using Up and Down arrows go to line
no.2 of the Monitor menu.
4.3
Input type selection
To display the selected input type: video (composite video, PAL), SDI
(digital video) or ASO (DVB-ASI Transport Stream):
1.
The parameter is monitored in the main screen
2.
To see it using “Monitor” menu, use Up and Down arrows to go to line
no.3 of the Monitor menu.
When the configured input signal type is not the same that the signal type
that is being introduced, the equipment shows an alarm and the input signal
indicator in the main screen blinks.
4.4
Modulation
In accordance with the European Standard ETSI EN300744, COFDM (Coded
Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) modulation system can use
three modulation schemes to modulate data carriers: QPSK, 16QAM and
64QAM.
This parameter is displayed in:

Once in the Monitor menu, the parameter’s value is shown in line no.4.
4.5
FEC (Forward Error Correction)
Base on ETSI EN 300744 standard five FEC types (1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6 and
7/8) are defined for the DVB-T transmission system.
This parameter is displayed in:
