sembly.
Account for the detent ball, the spring and the plate.

17. Remove the three bolts

Account for the dowel pins.

Dissasembly of propeller shaft components

1. Slide the propeller shaft away from the reverse gear

and

the bearing housing assembly

Account for the reverse gear back-up shim

and the re-

verse gear thrust washer

2. Remove the push rod

and the forward gear thrust washer

3. Remove the spring

from the clutch dog shifter.

4. Using the special tool, push the dog pin

out of the clutch

dog shifter.
