6.1 SG-CPM5 options
6.1.1 SG-CPM5 options: [0XX] - IP options
These sections contain options related to IP addresses.
Option [001]: IP Address
Default (0.0.0.0) - DHCP
This section is the IP address of the SG-CPM5. The IP Address is entered as a dotted decimal number. Example: 192.168.002.045. Each segment of the
IP address has a valid range from 000 to 255. The default of 0.0.0.0 sets the IP as DHCP.
NOTE: The unit must be reset before parameter changes take effect.
Option [002]: Subnet Mask
Default (255.255.0.0)
This section is the subnet mask of the SG-CPM5. The subnet mask is entered as a dotted decimal number. Example: 255.255.000.000. Each segment of
the subnet mask has a valid range from 000 to 255.
If section [001] is set to 0.0.0.0, the SG-CPM5 uses the Subnet Mask from the DHCP server.
NOTE: The unit must be reset before parameter changes take effect.
Option [003]: Gateway Address
Default (0.0.0.0)
The gateway address is the IP address of the router used in the event that the data being sent is not on the same network as the SG-CPM5. The gateway
address is entered as a dotted decimal number. Example: 192.168.002.001. Each segment of the gateway address has a valid range from 000 to 254.
If section [001] is set to 0.0.0.0, the SG-CPM5 uses the Gateway from the DHCP server.

6.1.2 SG-CPM5 Options: [1XX] - User Name/Password Options
These sections are used to change user names and passwords needed to access the programming menu and console connection. Sixteen users accounts
are available. User 1 is the Administrator, while users 2 through 16 are assigned to individual operators. The Administrator can access all menus. Other
user accounts are limited to read-only access.
Option [101]: User#1 (Admin) User Name
Default (Admin)
This section is the user name of the Administrator. Valid user names are between 1 and 8 characters, case-sensitive and can be composed of numbers,
spaces, and upper/lower-case letters. User names cannot begin with a space.
Option [102]: User#1 (Admin) Password
Default (adminpass)
This section is the password for the Administrator. Valid passwords are between 8 and 20 characters and can be composed of numbers and upper-
/lower-case letters. Passwords cannot contain
any spaces.
Options [103], [105], [107], [109], [111], [113], [115], [117], [119], [121], [123], [125], [127], [129] and [131]: User Names 2-16
Defaults (User 2) - (User 16)
These sections are the user names of individual users. Valid user names are between 1 and 8 characters, case-sensitive and can be composed of num-
bers, spaces, and upper/lower-case letters. User names cannot begin with a space.
Options [104], [106], [108], [110], [112], [114], [116], [118], [120], [122], [124], [126], [128], [130] and [132]: User Passwords 2-16
Defaults (AAAAAAAA)
These sections are the passwords of individual users. Valid passwords are between 8 and 20 characters and can be composed of numbers and upper-
/lower-case letters. Passwords cannot contain
any spaces.
